Santa Rosa is the largest city in California’s North Coast, Wine Country and the North Bay and the fifth most populous city in the San Francisco Bay Area. Santa Rosa’s idillic weather is similar to a Mediterranean climate with cool, wet winters and warm, mostly dry summers. In the summer, fog and low overcast clouds often roll in cooling off the evenings and early mornings, then parting late in the morning allowing for clear warm, sunny skies.
