Sebastopol
Nestled between Santa Rosa and Bodega Bay, Sebastopol is 21 miles to the coast. It is known for its liberal politics and small-town charm. At one time it was mainly a plum and apple growing region but wine grapes are now predominant, nearly all lands once used for orchards are now vineyards. World-famous horticulturist Luther Burbank had gardens in this fertile region. The city bustles with fairs and festivals year-round, but is most famous for the annual Apple Blossom Festival and Gravenstein Apple Fair.
